Last of the Pumpkins

On this beautiful autumn day, we visited the pumpkins at Farmer's Market for the last time of the season....

While we were there, Spiderman showed up, but Sofia was not too sure of getting close enough for a picture with the superhero....... this was as close as it got.....

Sofia's has a love for shoes!  A girl after my heart!  Once she finds a shoe of interest, she sits herself down for her fitting.......

Fall Pictures

Last weekend, Sofia enjoyed some quality time with her cousins.  It is really neat to see the fun time she has with them and how they all enjoy eachother's company.  It is going to be great watching them grow up together.

Howdy....

.......FROM THE STATE FAIR!!!

Steven and I had not been to the state fair since before we were married, so we decided to take a day, enjoy the fun again and show our little cowgirl what the fair was all about......

Of course to me, it was ALL about the food....... although we didn't try the new fried stuff, we stuck to the traditional state fair cuisine......

Then we took a break from eating and headed to the petting farm area..... there was chaos! - but we managed to squeeze ourselves through it.

Sofia was fine with the animals and being close to them AS LONG AS they didn't look at her, breathe on her or move while she was trying to touch them!

AND these odd looking sheep with 4 horns are called.......4 horned sheep  :)
(I've never seen this before)

Back to food......

Yummmmm - we didn't eat one of these, but don't they make your mouth water and teeth hurt at the same time?

We couldn't leave without gnawing on a turkey leg!

Now this, I couldn't pass up...cotton candy!

Sofia was not sure about the cotton candy and didn't attempt it.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Today, Mrs. Nikki and Co. went on a field trip to a local pumpkin patch and enjoy a picnic at the playground......  and OHHHH THE FUN THEY HAD!.......

At one of local nurseries, we were welcomed by that Texas greeting (the title) along with the perfect fall atmosphere.....
